Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and The Lazy Creator Company ("we", "us") for using HindSited. By creating an account or buying a plan, you agree to them. Please also read our Privacy Policy and Cancellation and refunds policy.
1. What HindSited does
HindSited has three tools: a website check, Review Booster and Quote Calculator. The website check opens a site the way a visitor would, reads its public pages, follows links and runs Google's speed test. It never logs in, fills in or submits forms, or buys anything.
2. Your account
Give accurate details, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. One account is for one person or business (Agency plans cover the businesses on the plan).
3. Checking websites
Check sites you own, manage, or have a genuine business reason to review (for example, a client or prospective client). Don't use HindSited to overload, attack or copy anyone's site. Reports are automated guidance to help you improve a site. They aren't a guarantee of results, rankings or security.
4. Plans and fair use
- Free: one website check, one Review Booster kit, and one Quote Calculator for 14 days or 10 quote requests, whichever comes first. Free reports show part of the results; the most serious issues unlock with a paid plan.
- Solo ($19 CAD/month or $299 CAD once): one business, 30 website checks a month, full reports, all tools.
- Agency ($79 CAD/month or $999 CAD once): up to 10 businesses, 300 website checks a month, your own branding on reports. Extra businesses are $6 CAD/month each. All prices are in Canadian dollars.
Monthly checks reset on the 1st of each month and don't roll over. Prices are in US dollars.
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Monthly plans renew automatically each month until you cancel. A lifetime ("pay once") plan is a single payment for that plan for as long as HindSited is offered.
6. Cancelling and refunds
See Cancellation and refunds. In short: monthly plans can be cancelled any time and run to the end of the paid month; lifetime plans can be refunded at 70% within 7 days of purchase.
7. New website builds
The Lazy Creator Company builds new websites, from $500 CAD. Builds are separate from HindSited plans.
- Quote first. You get a written quote by email with what's included, the price and the timing. No work starts and nothing is charged until you agree.
- Paying. 50% deposit to start. The other 50% when your site is ready, before it goes live. A typical build takes 1 to 2 weeks after the deposit.
- Hosting starts at launch. The final payment also starts website hosting and updates (section 8), and saves your card for it. A site doesn't go live without hosting.
- What you own. Your website's words, photos and logo, and your web address (domain), which stays registered in your name.
- No passwords. We never ask for the passwords to your existing website, your domain or any other account.
- We don't edit existing sites. We build new websites only. To fix your current site, every report shows how to fix each issue yourself, or give it to whoever manages your site.
8. Website hosting and updates
- Price. $25 CAD a month, charged automatically to the card saved at launch, on the same day each month.
- Included. Hosting, the security padlock (SSL), small text and photo changes (like hours, prices, photos and wording), and fixes if something on your site breaks. New pages are $150 CAD each, quoted before they're added.
- If a payment fails. Stripe tries again and emails you, and we'll send a link to update your card. If it's still unpaid 14 days after it was due, your site is paused (visitors see a "temporarily offline" page) until it's paid. Once it's paid, it's switched back on.
- Leaving. Give 30 days' notice by email. Hosting ends 30 days later and you won't be charged after that. You'll get a zip file of your website's files to host anywhere, and your web address is already in your name.
- Refunds. A month that has already been charged isn't refunded.
9. Your information and content
You own your information, your logos and your customers' quote requests. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide HindSited to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Acceptable use
Don't misuse HindSited: no spam through calculators or review pages, no fake reviews, no attempts to break, overload or get around its limits, and nothing illegal. We may suspend accounts that do.
11. Availability
We work hard to keep HindSited running and accurate, but it's provided "as is". Some sites block automated visitors, and third-party services (like Google's speed test) can be unavailable at times.
12. Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about HindSited is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profits or data.
13. Ending
You can delete your account any time from your dashboard. We may end or suspend an account that breaks these terms.
14. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
15. Changes and contact
